As of September 2009, James Bond Watches was the first (and we believe exclusive) source to confirm directly from SEIKO the case / calibre and model number of the watch type they provided for actor Roger Moore to wear as James Bond in Octopussy.

SEIKO describes its G757 watch series as follows:

Continuous readout in hours on 12 or 24 hour basis, minutes, seconds, day and AM/PM. In time mode, Graphic Display indicates seconds display in synchronization with digital readout. In countdown mode, graphic display shows minutes and seconds remaining in a preset period up to 60 minutes.

In chronograph mode, graphic display indicates running chronograph. Chronograph records hours, minutes, seconds and 1/100th seconds up to 12 hours with lap time capability. Alarm can be set to ring daily at any designated AM or PM time. Digital hands, time, alarm, stopwatch, countdown timer, hourly chime, backlight.
