The JamesBondWatches.com™ home page has changed today to reflect “soft-launch” status for Version 5 (referenced as “v5.00” for this phase).
Banner, ground, and layout are now in final configuration. Header, footer, Welcome! and main (side-slider) menus are all set and functional as well — along with Movie Wristwatches and Why—? section landing pages.
James Bond Watches Blog™ is not set out as a stand-alone section, but, rather, ties to pages for which any given Post is applicable through Category assignments. This Post, for example, primarily resides under the “About” page (which is accessed through a link in the footer that appears on every page here), using the Sub-Category label “Version 5.” No Tags are used.
For visitors who would like to “scroll through” James Bond Watches Blog entries in order, backward and forward navigation buttons appear beneath each post. The first, en route to launch of this Version 5 site, was posted on December 29 of last year. The site version number at the bottom of each page (eg, v5.000 and following) links to an index to all posts under that Sub-Category, so backward and forward navigation can then be undertaken from any of those entries as well.
By the numbers, James Bond Watches currently consists of approximately one hundred pages. Today, the first twenty-one have been released. In the coming days, weeks, and months, pages that pass through final review will be published. First priorities given to “Under Construction” sections on the home page and watchmakers and models set out on the Movie Wristwatches page. I anticipate that most (if not all) will be accompanied by some sort of an introduction post.
Merry Christmas!
